Auditions for "Farm Story" Web Series Held in Staunton

Posted: Updated:
STAUNTON, Va. (WVIR) -

Open call auditions were held at the Masonic Building in downtown Staunton Monday for a web series called "Farm Story.” The show is about a family that moves from New York City to a rural town.

The crew has already booked a block of days in September to shoot the pilot episode in Staunton - but you can't have a shoot without a cast.

"We're looking at 'Farm Story' as what we call locally grown TV and we're looking for it to be something that really comes out of the place that we're in. Place matters,” said Jessica Ammirati, Farm Story's director.

A producer and writer are still holding auditions in the next few days, but by appointment only.
