Waynesboro Parks and Rec Wants Public Input on Coyner Springs Park

Posted: Updated: Jul 20, 2014 04:36 PM

Waynesboro Parks and Recreation would like to hear from people who use Coyner Springs Park.

The park is mostly a nature area right now with a few pathways already in place. There is a large open area for dogs to exercise without a leash and a picnic area with tables and a grill.

The city's parks department is doing an online needs assessment to collect input on what to add to Coyner Springs.

Waynesboro Resident, Michelle Knoll said, "It would be nice to have a gazebo here, especially since they have a little pond out back, it would be nice to have something like that to make it more picturesque."

You can submit your ideas through the online survey which you can access here. For additional information, call the Waynesboro Department of Parks and Recreation at 540-942-6735 or email parksandrec@ci.waynesboro.va.us.
