Officers from the Culpeper Police Department and Culpeper County Sheriff’s Office Joint Street Crimes Unit made an arrest of a Culpeper man after a late night raid on a residence on the 10000 block of Dunkard Church Road in Culpeper County on July 10, 2014.
Officers from the Joint Street Crimes Unit conducted a month long investigation on a Steven M. Wright, age 33, of the 10000 block of Dunkard Church Road for the distribution of narcotics in the Town and County of Culpeper.
On July 10, 2014, members of the Culpeper Police Department and Culpeper Sheriff’s Office Joint Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant at the Dunkard Church Road address. It is there, where members of the Joint Street Crimes Unit discovered and seized multiple bottles of PCP, Marijuana, money, jewelry, and ammunition at the residence.
Steven M. Wright was arrested on-scene and charged with Felony Possession with the Intent to Distribute PCP and Felony Possession of Ammunition by a Convicted Felon. Mr. Wright was taken to the Culpeper County Jail where he is being held without bond.
Cordell Lamone, age 43, was also charged with Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana at the scene as well. He was later released on a Summons.
