The city of Waynesboro hosted its annual summer extravaganza Saturday.
Hundreds came out to enjoy live music, carnival rides, and hot air balloon rides.
Dozens of volunteer groups helped to keep the party going all day. The Exchange Club is the oldest group at the extravaganza.
Its members are raising money to give a special gift to some kids in need.
Melanie button, from the exchange club said, "We try to get the money for a Christmas party for the Salvation Army kids, and then around Christmas time we go shopping for about a hundred gifts."
The extravaganza also featured a 5k run Sunday morning. The fun is wrapped up with a fireworks show over Ridgeview Park.
