WASHINGTON (AP) - The company that sold The Washington Post last year to Amazon.com founder Jeff Bezos is now selling much of its corporate art collection to employees of the newspaper.

A spokeswoman for Graham Holdings tells The Washington Post (http://wapo.st/1zmLwMh ) the company is offering artworks at reduced rates to employees as a farewell gesture. Graham Holdings is moving out of the Post's building in downtown Washington for new offices in Arlington, Virginia. The new space will have fewer walls to display art.

The art collection begun by former Washington Post publisher Katharine Graham includes many works by Washington artists. It includes works by Sam Gilliam, Jacob Kainen, Thomas Downing and national figures such as Alex Katz.

Some prized works, including a photography collection by Robert H. McNeill, will be donated to institutions
