Virginia defensive end Eli Harold and strong safety Anthony Harris were each named to the preseason Bednarik Award Watch List.
The Bednarik award has been honoring the best College Defensive Player since 1995.
Harris is a preseason All-American after winning All-America honors in 2013 from Sports Illustrated and Walter Camp.
He led the nation with eight interceptions, and set a UVa record with at least one interception in five straight games.
Harold finished with 8.5 sacks in 2013, which placed him fourth amongst underclassman.
His 15 tackles for a loss last year, rank seventh all time at Virginia for a season.
