A teacher from Louisa County is now the secretary-treasurer of the National Education Association (NEA).
Princess Moss has held other positions on the national, local and state level, but now she is in charge of overseeing the association's budget and fiscal integrity. Moss is a music teacher, and has been a longtime advocate of music and fine arts education in America's public schools.
She will take office September 1.
