Charlottesville police have no suspect in an assault that happened overnight in the city.
Investigators responded to Seventh-and-a-Half Street just after 2 a.m. Monday, where a 32-year-old man was suffering from cuts to his arm and upper torso. He was taken to the University of Virginia Medical Center. The injuries are not life-threatening.
Police believe the actual assault happened along South First Street.
