The Cavaliers fought for a College World Series title Wednesday night before falling to Vanderbilt University.
But throughout the game, fans were out in full force on the UVA Corner, the crowd growing bigger and louder as the night went on, all eyes on the TV screens.
People packed both levels of the restaurant - dressed in blue and orange of course - to show their support for the team. Fans ordered plenty of food and beer by the buckets to get them through some early, intense moments in the game.
Some felt like a national championship has been years in the making, and were pleased to see the 'Hoos go this far.
"I feel like it's been a good couple years that they've been getting there but just not quite going all the way so it's awesome,” said one fan, Ben Perkins.
Ultimately, the national college baseball championship went to Vanderbilt in the 3-2 game.
