CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va (WVIR) -

Fans in Charlottesville came out Saturday to sports bars around town to catch University of Virginia baseball’s match against Ole Miss.

The game was postponed Friday because of weather - and some fans were worried it would affect their play Saturday.

But in the end, UVA pulled out the win, beating Ole Miss 4-1.  UVA advanced to the final round of the College World Series for the first time in program history with Saturday's win.

Now, fans say they're looking forward to a final matchup versus Texas or Vanderbilt.

"I know we can take either of them. Our arms are so strong, we really, we haven't used many pitchers up to this point, and we're starting to hit well. I feel like we could easily win both games,” said Paul Muhlberger, UVA baseball fan.

UVA will play the winner of Texas and Vanderbilt Monday at 8 p.m. in game one of a three-game series.
