The Virginia baseball game against Mississippi in the College World Series Friday night was suspended due to rain, and will resume Saturday at three o'clock.

The game was scoreless in the second inning with the rain started falling.

UVa had two runners on with nobody out at the time of the delay.

A win by the Cavaliers Saturday would send them to the College World Series Final Round for the first time in program history.

If the Wahoos lose, they'll play the Rebels in a Bracket Championship game Sunday.

Texas and Vanderbilt will play for the right to advance to the final three-game championship series in a winner-take-all game Saturday at 8pm.
