After two years building a school, staff and curriculum, the newest addition to Mary Baldwin College is finally open.
The Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences welcomed students this week. Seventy doctoral candidates are divided equally between the physical therapy and occupational therapy programs.
Health Sciences Vice President Linda Seestedt-Stanford says it's very exciting seeing the hard work pay off.
"We are innovators. We are entrepreneurs. You can see that in the programs that Mary Baldwin College has started and we really link well with the community,” she said.
The building houses three floors, featuring classrooms and labs equipped with the latest technology.
