The city of Charlottesville is trying to get your input on its Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan.
A kickoff open house event was held at CitySpace Wednesday night for people to check out maps and talk about how to improve transportation in the area.
The current Bike and Pedestrian Plan was first adopted in 2003. Organizers say a lot has changed in the past decade.
“We're trying to get some information about what some of those new standards and trends are, but also get input on where people want to bike and walk and what are some of the barriers to doing that safely and comfortably,” said Amanda Poncy, Charlottesville Bike & Pedestrian Coordinator.
If you could not make Wednesday’s meeting, you can check out the city's interactive map and leave feedback online here.
