Police say a 22-year-old woman from Charlottesville drove her car on the downtown mall Monday morning.
Police were called around 7 a.m. when the woman got her car stuck on the grass in front of the pavilion. A tow truck pulled the car out and the woman was taken to the University of Virginia Medical Center for a mental evaluation.
No one was hurt and the car wasn't damaged.
At this point, no charges have been filed.
