Central Virginia homeschoolers got their chance to wear graduation caps and gowns Saturday.
They were honored in a ceremony at the First Baptist Church in Charlottesville. Delegate Rob Bell served as keynote speaker.
He's a home school parent himself and has sponsored the "Tebow Bill" in the General Assembly which would allow home school students to participate in high school sports. That bill failed by just one vote this year.
In all, 20 students walked across the stage to pick up diplomas.
