The Piedmont Housing Alliance is offering help for new homeowners. Because June is national homeownership month, the housing alliance is offering homebuyer education courses.
It’s helping dozens of families who want to purchase a home, showing them everything they need to know before making that big move. They will hear from realtors, lenders and even a housing counselor.
"This is a great way to get support in your dream of home ownership,” said Karen Reifenberger, deputy director of the Piedmont Housing Alliance. “It's directed by the client so what they need is what they get. If people need a little bit of support to purchase soon, that's what they get. Some people come in and work with a counselor over a long period of time."
