CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va (WVIR) -
Graduation weekend brings big businesses to Charlottesville especially on the corner at the University of Virginia.
Restaurants and bars opened early for business.
Kevin Badke, the owner of Trinity on the corner, says this is a weekend that the bar looks forward to every year.
“This weekend's one of the best weekends of the year as far as people coming to town, families getting together with friends, everyone's in such a good mood.” he said.
He says football season is the other busiest time of year.Restaurants around Charlottesville say they've had several busy weekends recently, with Mother's Day last weekend and Easter just a few weeks ago.
