Albemarle Police: No One Shot during Standoff at Brown

ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va (WVIR) -

Albemarle police now say no one was shot, but they are still investigating the events leading up to Friday's four-hour standoff along Route 29.

Police charged 32-year-old Richard Barracks from Esmont with for having a gun when he is a convicted felon.

Crews surrounded Brown Collision Center Friday night after witnesses reported an armed man ran into the building. An employee locked him inside.

The stand-off followed a call for multiple shots fired on Berkmar Drive.
