CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va (WVIR) -
There are still more questions than answers surrounding Charlottesville’s first homicide of 2014.
Police released the name of the victim, 30-year-old Antonio Lamar Washington, on Sunday. He's the victim police found at the Alhamraa restaurant with with what they're calling "chest injuries" early Saturday morning. Washington later died at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
Police are still not saying whether they have a suspect in this case and we still don't have an official word on how exactly the victim died.
Both Charlottesville police and the medical examiner say at this point they can't comment, so it's still unclear what exactly happened.
The investigation is ongoing. NBC29 will continue to reach out to Charlottesville police and bring you more information as it becomes available.
