UVa Men's Tennis Team Advances to Round of 16

The defending national champion Virginia men's tennis team has advanced to the NCAA Round of 16 for the 11th year in a row, after beating Penn State 4-1 Sunday at the Snyder Tennis Center.

UVa lost the doubles point against the Nittany Lions, but rallied to win four-straight singles matches.

The Cavaliers (25-2) are the 4-seed in the NCAA Tournament, and will play 13-seed Notre Dame Friday in Athens, Georgia.

Virginia is 22-0 all-time in postseason matches at the Snyder Tennis Center and the Boar's Head Sports Club.
