Many businesses in central Virginia count on Mother’s Day for a boost from sons and daughters treating mom to a special day.
Trump Vineyard was no exception. Families came out to the Albemarle County winery for a Mother's Day brunch, where they tasted some wine and food and soaked up a little sun.
The vineyard's general manager, Kelly Wollard, said this is an important time of year for business, and the warm weather certainly helps.
"Coming off the winter we're really looking forward to being busy this time of year, so we're excited when April and May come around, but yeah, Mother's Day, Easter, Memorial day, it's definitely a busy time for us," said Wollard.
Next weekend is a big one, too, because of the University of Virginia’s graduation. Trump expects students will want to come out and bring their families along.
