Arts & Crafts Festival Supports Claudius Crozet Park

ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va (WVIR) -

One of central Virginia's largest arts and crafts festivals wrapped up Sunday afternoon in Crozet.

The festival took over Claudius Crozet Park all weekend, with around 7,000 people coming out to see the show, and 109 artists selected to display everything from woodwork to painting and sculptures.

"This show is very important because it introduces central Virginia to a wide array of artists. We have artists from Canada all the way to Florida, so we bring in artists nationwide to introduce the community to new art and we work really hard to get new artists each and every year,” said festival director Jody Giles.

The event supports the upkeep of Claudius Crozet Park.
