Posted: Updated:
HARRISONBURG, Va (WVIR) -

The Virginia Department of Transportation is inviting the public to weigh-in this week on the proposed six-year improvement plan to prioritize transportation projects in the Shenandoah Valley. The plan is updated every year to fund road, rail, and pedestrian projects.

VDOT will hold a public hearing Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Rockingham County Administration Center in Harrisonburg.

Comments collected at the hearing will be sent to the Commonwealth Transportation Board before it approves the final six-year plan in June.
