Augusta Supervisors Approve Real Estate Tax Hike

AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va (WVIR) -

Augusta County residents will soon see an increase in real estate tax.

The Board of Supervisors voted 6 to 1 Wednesday night in favor of a 56-cent real estate tax rate, which is 5 cents higher than the current rate.

The board also passed a budget.

Supervisor Marshall Pattie was the lone opposition on both items.
