A tow truck driver was arrested Tuesday in Staunton because police say he showed up drunk on one of their calls.
Daniel Stroop, 47, is charged with driving a commercial vehicle while intoxicated.
Police called Downtown Towing late Monday night when they needed an abandoned vehicle moved. They say Stroop arrived at the scene smelling like alcohol, and he failed a field sobriety test.
Stroop is free on bond.
