A grand jury has indicted a man for Charlottesville’s only murder in 2013. Tsaye Simpson was indicted on four felonies, including first-degree murder, in Charlottesville Circuit Court Monday.
He's accused of shooting co-worker Jarvis Brown and leaving his body in the middle of Woodland Drive in October of 2013. Jarvis Brown and Simpson both worked at the University of Virginia’s dining hall facility.
During a preliminary hearing earlier this month, a third co-worker said he saw Simpson shoot Brown after an argument.
