2 Arrested after Charlottesville Home Invasion, Stabbing

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va (WVIR) -

Two men have been arrested after a home invasion and stabbing that took place Tuesday night in Charlottesville.

It happened around 10 p.m. in the 2100 block of Angus Road. The victim was robbed and stabbed, though his injuries were non-life-threatening.

The victim's  2004 BMW was stolen, but Henrico County Police officers stopped the vehicle and arrested 22-year-old James Hope Turner III and 27-year-old Edgar Edward Swingler, who are now facing charges of robbery, grand larceny, malicious wounding, possession of a firearm as a convicted felon, and use of a firearm while in the commission of a felony.
