Brandon Isaiah Introduced as Albemarle HS new Head Football Coach

Posted: Updated:
Albemarle High School officially introduced Brandon Isaiah as its new head varsity football coach on Thursday.   Isaiah has spent the last nine seasons as an assistant coach at the high school level at Albemarle HS, Charlottesville HS, and most recently Monticello HS.

Isaiah says, "I just want to make sure I make a good impression on them and let them know I'm here for them. I'm not just their football coach, I consider myself to be a mentor maybe a father figure to some of these kids, I want parents to feel good about leaving their kids in this football program, I'm hopeful for what I can bring to the table and integrating my system and things I want to get going. I'm just really excited about the future here."

Isaiah played fullback at the University of Virginia before graduating in 2004.   He played several years in the Arena Football League.   He will officially be introduced at Albemarle at a press conference on Thursday.

The Patriots are coming off their first playoff appearance in a decade.   Albemarle had a record of 6-4 during the regular season in 2013.

Isaiah replaces Mike Alley who resigned after four season as head coach at Albemarle.
