Harrisonburg Police Seek Assistance in Identifying Credit Card Fraud Suspects

Harrisonburg Police Department Press Release

On February 4, officers with the Harrisonburg Police Department received a report of a credit card larceny/fraud. The victim reported their wallet being stolen from their purse while at a restaurant located in the 100 block of Pleasant Valley Road. Later on the same day, the victim’s credit card was fraudulently used at a convenience store in Weyers Cave, VA and at a Wal-Mart in Lexington, VA

Video surveillance has been obtained of the possible suspects.

The suspects are described as follows;

Suspect #1- Black male, approximately 30-35 years of age. Last seen wearing dark colored pants, a white in color t-shirt with dark colored stripe (possibly a soccer style jersey), and a navy blue and white striped toboggan.

Suspect #2- Possibly a white female, approximately 25-30 years of age. Last seen wearing tan pants and a heavy black hooded jacket. The suspect is also carrying a brown and black purse.

Suspect #3- Black female, shoulder length/black in color hair, approximately 30-35 years of age. Last seen wearing a light in colored shirt or jacket (possibly white) and carrying a tan or dark colored purse. Suspect #3 is only identified during the credit card fraud at the Wal-Mart in Lexington.

The suspects purchased gas in Weyers Cave, VA and then gift cards in Lexington, VA.

HPD is encouraging anyone in the community who may know the identity of the persons in these photos to contact the Harrisonburg Police Department, Criminal Investigations Division, at 540-437-2640
