2 Charged in Connection to Mailbox Break-Ins, Vandalisms in Orange

On Thursday April 11, 2014 the Orange County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 200 Lakeview Parkway, (inside Lake of the Wood) in Locust Grove Va.

As a result of the search warrant the Sheriff’s Office was able to solve a rash of mailbox break-ins and vandalisms. These cases date back approx. 18 months.

Two people have been charged with crimes connected to these cases. Kimberle Hodsden, age 31 of Stafford had been charged with Petit Larceny, Falsely Identifying herself to a Law Enforcement Officer and Christopher Earl, age 34 of Lake of the Woods, has been charged with Grand Larceny and Destruction of Property. Both subjects have been released on bond.

This investigation has been a joint effort between The Orange County Sheriff’s Office, Lake of the Woods Security and The Postal Inspectors Office. The Investigation is ongoing.
