#14 Clemson Tops #2 UVa Baseball 7-1

The #2 Virginia baseball team lost 7-1 Saturday against #14 Clemson in Game Two of their three-game series at Davenport Field.

The defeat snaps UVa's 16-game home win streak.

Virginia starting pitcher Josh Sborz worked 5 1/3 innings, allowing three earned runs, one hit, and three walks, while striking out five.

Sborz did not allow a hit until the sixth inning.

The Tigers scored three runs in the 6th and four in the 7th to blow the game open.

Virginia (29-6, 13-4 ACC) and Clemson (21-13, 10-6 ACC) will play Game Three of the series Sunday at one o'clock.
