14th Annual Fly Fishing & Wine Festival Kicks Off in Waynesboro
Crowds are enjoying a weekend of fly fishing on the South River in Waynesboro. The 14th Annual Fly Fishing and Wine Festival started Saturday.
People got the chance to learn from the nation's four best fly fishers. There were also 50 vendors selling beer, wine, food, and fishing gear.
The festival's director says there's no other event like it.
"We do a lot of demonstrations right here on the South River and so that's what makes us different than all the other fly fishing shows is that we're outdoor and we're on the river,” said Dana Quillen, executive director of the festival.
The festival continues Sunday starting at 10 a.m.
