Thursday night, Charlottesville schools are taking yet another look at changing school start times.
At its last meeting, the Charlottesville School Board asked for an additional scenario that would not have elementary-schoolers start so early.
With this new proposal, middle school students would start about an hour later than they do now. Elementary-schoolers would only start 15 minutes earlier - not nearly 40 minutes earlier as originally proposed.
Results of a staff survey show concerns of the impact a new schedule will have on after school activities.
A final decision is expected sometime in May.
