CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va (WVIR) -
The Virginia softball team snapped an eleven-game losing streak by winning both games of a doubleheader against Delaware State Wednesday at The Park.

The Cavaliers (6-32) won Game One 8-0 in five innings, and took Game Two 2-0.

Sophomore pitcher Aimee Chapdelaine pitched the first two shutouts of her career while earning wins in both games.

UVa will travel to Blacksburg for a series with Virginia Tech this weekend, beginning with a doubleheader Saturday at 1 p.m.
