Charlottesville City Council got an update on the latest ridership numbers for the city's public buses at Monday night’s meeting.
Charlottesville Area Transit reports a nearly 9 percent decrease in ridership for the first months since routes changed at the beginning of the year.
Route 9 has taken the biggest hit with 46 percent fewer riders. Ridership on the Free Trolley is down 13 percent.Click here to see council's full agenda.
