Police Investigate Robbery on UVA Campus

PRESS RELEASE: The University of Virginia Police Department is investigating a reported robbery that occurred near Humphreys House on April 5, 2014, at approximately 5:40 a.m. The victim reported being struck in the head by an unidentified suspect. The suspect then took money from the victim’s pocket before fleeing on foot. At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a gray hoodie. No further description is available.

The victim was treated and released for minor injuries at the UVA Medical Center.
