Louisa County Sheriff's Office Investigates Teen Sexting Scandal
The Louisa County Sheriff's Office is investigating a teenage sexting scandal.
According to the Central Virginian, the investigation started after a parent reported suspicious activity on Instagram to a school resource officer and a number of nude photographs were found on the social media site.
Investigators have seized nearly 24 cellphones.
The Central Virginian reports the investigation involves teens from six counties, including Albemarle and Fluvanna.
Officers are examining evidence before deciding where to go with the investigation from here.
