There is still time for book lovers to get some great deals at the 49th Annual Spring Book Sale. The sale at the Gordon Avenue Library has already generated $64,000 toward its $100,000 goal.
Thousands of books and tapes were donated by community members throughout the year. This year organizers say shoppers may notice something different.
“There are books that are in pristine condition. They look like they have come right off a new bookstore shelf,” said Bill Davis, book sale manager.
Prices will be cut in half over the weekend. The book sale ends this Sunday.
Proceeds will likely go to the Crozet Library first and then other branches of the Jefferson Madison Regional Library. For more information, click here.
