WAYNESBORO, Va. (WVIR) -

One of the suspects involved in a home invasion and shooting at a Waynesboro retirement home last fall will spend eight years behind bars.

Back in October, following complaints from residents about suspected criminal activity at Fairfax Hall, a group of people were arrested after a confrontation ended with a person getting shot in the buttocks.

Dale Wright, 24, pleaded guilty in Waynesboro Circuit Court Thursday to armed robbery and gun charges.

Three other suspects were involved.
