UVa Football's Prized Freshman Andrew Brown Eases into Spring Practice

Posted: Updated:

Virginia's 6'4'' 282 pound 5-star freshman recruit, Andrew Brown, has been showing up big time as the 'Hoos started spring practice this week.

Brown already signed his grant-in-aid which is why he was able to enroll early at UVa and participate in spring practice.

Mike London was able to fill us in on his prized new player.

"There is a level of humility the young man has," said London. "Even with all the accolades that have come before him and followed him. Very humbled but wants to be very much a part of the team. Being a college student has been a challenge for him but its a acclimatization period that he has to get used to. Now he's out here on the field. Hopefully we'll be able to play him this year - play him a lot. At the same time he's gotta become a lot of things quickly, he's been doing that so far."
