Cinderella’s Closet Holds Dress Drive at Raising Cane’s
A group at Monticello High School wants to make sure every girl has a prom to remember. All the glitz and glamour can cost hundreds, but Cinderella's Closet offers dresses for just $25.
Thursday night the group kicked off its dress drive at Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers on Emmet Street.
"At Raising Cane’s we love giving back to the community and we know that our customer is coming from the community and we know that we wouldn't have this great business if it wasn't for our customers," said Tawny Matherne, partnering manager at Raising Cane’s.
Fifteen percent of Thursday night’s proceeds will go toward Cinderella's Closet.
“I think it's a really great fundraiser and I encourage people to donate. It's an easy way to get rid of your old dresses and give back to the community and students,” said CeCe Burger, a Monticello student and member of Cinderella’s Closet.
You can drop off your dresses at Raising Cane’s all weekend.
