'Hoos Ranked #5 in Latest Associated Press Top-25 Poll
The UVa men's basketball team is ranked 5th in the nation this week by the Associated Press. Its Virginia's first time being ranked in the top-10 since the 2001-'02 season.
Virginia jumped up seven spots from #12 this week after beating Syracuse 75-56 Saturday to win the ACC regular season championship outright for the first time since 1981.
Virginia has a record of 16-1 in the ACC and has won 13 straight games.

Virginia sophomore guard Malcolm Brogdon has been named the CBSSports.com National Player of the Week. Brogdon was also named ACC Co-Player of the week with UNC's Marcus Paige. Brogdon averaged 17 points, five rebounds, and four assists in two games last week. He had a career high 19 points , five rebounds, and five assists in Virginia's win over Syracuse.
The 'Hoos wrap up the regular season hosting Maryland on Sunday.
