UVa Women's Basketball Drops Road Game to FSU 82-70

The Virginia Women's Basketball team fell 82-70 to Florida State on the road.

The 'Hoos fall to 13-16, 6-10 ACC after their regular season finale and are seeded at number nine in the ACC tournament.

Virginia senior guard Lexie Gerson led the Cavaliers with a team-high 15 points, three rebounds and two assists. Junior center Sarah Imovbioh had a strong showing but just missed her tenth double-double of the season with 13 points and nine boards.

The ACC tournament is set to begin March 5 at the Greensboro Coliseum. Seeds 10-15 will compete on Wednesday, March 5 at the Greensboro Coliseum. Seeds 5-9 will see their first action on Thursday with seeds 1-4 earning a double-bye and seeing their first action in Friday's quarterfinals.
