Hundreds of shoppers lined up early Saturday morning in Charlottesville to steal some deals and donate to charities.
Portico Church hosted the Junior League of Charlottesville's first Dogwood Deals Rummage Sale.
Organizers say furniture, home goods, and children's clothing sold quickly.
All proceeds will benefit programs the Junior League supports, including children, youth and family services and the Boys and Girls Club.
“We've had a lot of great feedback from people coming in today that said, ‘We hope you're going to do it again. Would you do multiple sales a year?’” said fundraising chair Wendy Sewack.
League members also led a craft station for children and gathered tickets for a raffle.
Food trucks parked outside the sale also plan to donate ten percent of proceeds to the group.
