UPDATE: The Harrisonburg Police Department has located the missing 15-year-old, Grace Estela Botello. She was located in the City of Harrisonburg at approximately 9:00 a.m.
Investigators are still looking into the cause of her disappearance and are following up on leads as to her whereabouts overnight.

The Harrisonburg Police Department is asking for assistance in locating 15-year-old Grace Estela Botello.
Botello is described as a Hispanic female, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing approximately 119 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair. She also has facial piercing’s in the area of both of her lips, along with an abdomen piercing.
Botello was last seen at approximately 12:00 pm, on February 24, in the 600 block of Simms Avenue. The last contact she had with family or friends was between 8:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on the evening of the 24. She was last seen wearing light colored blue jeans and a light colored sweater.
The victim’s whereabouts, reason for disappearance, and endangerment are still under investigation. As more information becomes available, it will be released.
