Ann Mallek Kicks Off Spring Town Hall Meetings

Posted: Updated:

Albemarle County supervisor Ann Mallek will kick-off her spring series of town hall meetings this Tuesday.

The White Hall supervisor says the discussions typically span a range of topics including the county budget, hunting, traffic, and zoning issues.

This is Mallek's 12th round of town halls, but she says this set of meetings is being held earlier than normal.

"The benefit of the town hall meeting is to make sure I get those questions from the citizens and that will help me a lot this week because it's early in the process," Mallek said.

The first meeting is set for Tuesday night at 7:00 at the new Crozet Library.

The second will be held Wednesday night at 7:00 at the Earlysville Volunteer Fire Company.

Mallek will wrap up the series with a third session at the White Hall Community Building on Saturday, March 8 at 10 a.m.
