The Cavaliers rallied from 11 points down in the second half Tuesday night to beat Virginia Tech for the fifth straight time 57-53.
Justin Anderson and Joe Harris made back-to-back three pointers with under three minutes to go to complete the comeback.
The 'Hoos got balanced scoring once again with Malcolm Brogdon scoring a team-high 12 points and London Perrantes added 11.
UVa sophomore guard Justin Anderson said, "There's no better feeling than when the crowd is rocking like that and they had the orange out and they were a really good crowd, there's no better feeling that when you hit those shots and the crowd goes sush and all you hear is the crowd behind your bench going crazy for UVa so that was the best feeling about it. And the best thing about that is we came back and we didn't let it affect our defense and we got stops.
UVa senior guard Joe Harris said, "I'm really looking forward to getting back and playing in JPJ. Nothing against Tech but its not one of my favorite places to play so I'm excited to get back and play in front of our fans."
The Cavaliers have now won 10 straight games, the team's first 10-game ACC win streak since 1981-82. The 'Hoos also won their seventh ACC road game setting a school record. Virginia has a record of 13-1 in the ACC.
Virginia's next game is Saturday at home against Notre Dame.
