STAUNTON, Va (WVIR) -
The results are in on a Robert E. Lee High School study. Monday night, architects presented four options to the Staunton School Board along with rough budget estimates.
The first fixes infrastructure issues for just under $20 million. Choice two involves renovations and additions with a $30 million price tag. The third option would build a new school where the current one stands. Finally, the fourth option is a new school at a new site. The last two options would cost upwards of $40 million. The estimated cost of the fourth option does not include the cost of purchasing a new plot of land.
The board expects a recommendation from architects by the end of March.
