The Charlottesville Ballet hosted its annual Father-Daughter Valentine’s Dance Sunday night.
The dance floor was hopping as dads shared some quality time with their daughter sweethearts.
The event also featured cupcake decorating and Valentine’s card making.
“Valentine’s Day is in February, which really is the month of love, and so we wanted to really celebrate the parent-child relationship and the love that is established through that,” said Ballet Academy director Sara Clayborne.
This is the second year the ballet has hosted the Father-Daughter Dance.
The event sold out, so the director says she's considering putting together two dances next year.
