Harrisonburg Utilities to Temporarily Interrupt Water Services

Harrisonburg, VA – The City of Harrisonburg’s Department of Public Utilities will assist with a construction project this weekend, which will result in a temporary interruption in water services.

City crews will assist a contractor who will be working along Grace Street and Walnut Lane on Saturday, February 8. It is anticipated that some neighbors will have an interruption in water service from 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

The following addresses will be impacted:

725 (only suites A-D) and 741 South Main Street

10-119 Grace Street

638-656 and 663-677 Walnut Lane

Anthony-Seeger Hall at James Madison University

This project is part of the new student housing complex on Grace Street and construction on the water line is subject to change due to weather conditions.
